Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, to participate in an online event on Greek-Dutch friendship and sports diplomacy, organized by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Greece (Athens, 02.06.2021)

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, will attend tomorrow, Wednesday June 2, at 18:00, the online event titled “Friendship and sports history between Greece and the Netherlands – Remembering the Wembley Final between Ajax and Panathinaikos 50 years on”, organized by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Athens on the occasion of the 50th anniversary since the historic European Champions Cup Final of 1971 between Ajax FC and Panathinaikos FC.

The event, which will be addressed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, and the host of the event, the Ambassador of the Netherlands in Greece Stella Ronner-Grubacic, will focus on the ties between Greece and the Netherlands, as well as on the importance of sports diplomacy as a bridge of friendship and cooperation between peoples.
