Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias to meet with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan (Athens, 27.06.2022)

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, will meet with the Foreign Minister of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, tomorrow, Monday, June 27 2022, in Athens, in the context of the latter’s visit to Greece.

The two Ministers will hold a one-on-one meeting at approximately 13:05 and then expanded talks will follow.

Afterwards, the two Ministers will sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the two Foreign Ministries on European Union issues at approximately 13:45.

Joint statements to the press will be made at 13:50, followed by a working lunch.

Talks between the two Ministers are expected to focus on further strengthening bilateral relations, issues of regional and international interest, with emphasis on the current developments in the Caucasus region, the situation in Ukraine following the Russian invasion and Eastern Mediterranean, on cooperation between the two countries in the framework of trilateral cooperation schemes, as well as on EU-Armenia relations.
