Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias to meet with his Libyan counterpart, Najla El Mangoush (Athens, 06.09.2021)

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, will meet with his Libyan counterpart Najla El Mangoush on Monday, September 6, at 15:00.

There will be a private meeting, expanded talks between the two delegations and then the Minister of Foreign Affairs will host a working lunch.

Joint statements to the press are expected to take place at 16:20.

Talks are expected to focus on Greece’s support to Libya, bilateral relations, always on the basis of respect for International Law and especially for the Law of the Sea, developments in Libya in view of the elections scheduled for December 24, as well as EU-Libya relations. Wider developments in the Mediterranean region are also expected to be examined.
