The Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) will be hosting an Outreach programme at the Huntersfield Stadium in Katlehong, Ekurhuleni, on the 17th of March 2018 (Saturday).
The purpose of the Outreach Programme is to raise awareness about UIF Services. The Outreach Programme is mostly targeting employers, employees and job seekers in and around Katlehong and the surrounding townships.
The outreach will also afford the public to access services on the day including but not limited to; UIF applications, Job seeker’s registration and employer registration.
The Fund will also use this opportunity to unpack new developments from other programmes within the Department of Labour namely; Public Employment Services (PES), Inspection and Enforcement Services (IES) and the Compensation Fund (CF).

Those that have applied for UIF and for various reasons and did not receive what is due to them are encouraged to attend in order to receive assistance on the day and most importantly for employees to check if their employers have registered them with the fund.
