NAIROBI, It will be Number 2 versus Number 1 when Kenya’national rugby team takes on Namibia in a fourth round Africa Gold Cup Rugby Championship encounter at Windhoek Stadium this Saturday.
The Simbas, under head coach Jerome Paarwater, beat Zimbabwe 41-22 points in Harare last weekend to earn themselves five points and are now in second position on the championship table with 17 points.
Namibia tops the standings with 20 points after humbling Uganda 48-24 points while Uganda is third with 11 points.
The Simbas had earlier thrashed Tunisia by 100 to 10 and had settled for a 33-33 draw with Uganda.
The winners of the championship will take the sole ticket from the Africa qualifying region to the Rugby World Cup slated for Japan in 2019.
