The letters read :

I wish to write to Your Excellency on the above subject, to congratulate you for the 22nd July celebration and also your mass release of Gambians and non-Gambian prisoners.

Your Excellency you have made a world record and it is historic as first of its kind in The Gambia and beyond, which in my view, other world leaders should emulate your continued humanitarian stand.

The prophet Muhammad S.A.W led the religion of Islam against tremendous odds, but always remained victorious.

Your Excellency, I pray for your continued good health, peace, progress and prosperity

I wish to use this opportunity to thank you sincerely and looking forward to your highest consideration.

Yours faithfully

Mbye Gaye-Artist.
