Addis Ababa - The Information Network Security Administration (INSA) has officially opened registration for the National Cyber Special Talent Competition. This announcement was made during a press conference held earlier today.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, Director of the Cyber Excellence Center at INSA, this marks the third iteration of the competition at the national level. The initiative aims to address the workforce shortage in Ethiopia's cybersecurity sector by identifying and nurturing young talent. Over the past two years, INSA has focused on recruiting and training individuals to bolster the national cybersecurity capabilities. The competition is open to all Ethiopian residents aged 11 and above. Yene also encouraged media outlets, educational institutions, the private sector, and government entities to support and promote the competition.
