OTJIWARONGO: The Otjozondjupa Swapo-Party regional elective conference here took place under the watchful eyes of several members of parliament on Sunday. Defence Minister Charles Namoloh chaired the conference at the Otjiwarongo Swapo-Party regional office on Sunday afternoon.

Namoloh told Nampa shortly after the conference that the whole election exercise was free and fair.
“Delegates from different districts elected Susan Hikopua to the position of Otjozondjupa Swapo-Party Regional Co-ordinator,” said Namoloh.

Hikopua has been acting Otjozondjupa regional coordinator for over a year now. The Otjozondjupa Regional Governor Rapama Kamehozu was also elected to the position of regional mobiliser, while Julius Nauyoma Neumbo re-elected back to his position as treasurer, said Namoloh.
