Mandated by the NDP, we will continue to use Sport and Recreation as a vehicle to promote social cohesion. The mission statement of the National Sport Plan also gives us a mandate to transform the delivery of sport and recreation by ensuring equitable access, development and excellence at all levels of participation stated the MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation, Me Mathabo Leeto.
