Football managers and administrators from the four northern regions of Oshana, Ohangwena, Omusati and Oshikoto are attending the training that kicked off here on Wednesday.
Chairman of the executive committee of the Namibia Football Association (NFA) in the Oshana Region, Frans Mbidi told Nampa at the beginning of the training that the participants will be trained in football administration and management at FIFA level. According to Mbidi, it is the first time the NFA is organising training of this kind in Namibia. “This one is the beginning, the next training will be in the Kavango and Caprivi Regions, whereafter it goes to the rest of the regions,” he said.
Speaking at the start of the training, Rukoro called on all participants to fully engage in the training and to put forward the challenges faced by the football management in their respective regions.
Each of the participants will be awarded participation certificates at the end of their training and they are all expected to work towards the improvement and development of football in the country.
The training ends on Friday.
