NNA – Member of Parliament Ali Fayyad assured on Saturday that the Takfirism groups have always sought to transfer the problem to the Lebanese national scene, pointing to intensive attempts to build an appropriate infrastructure as a base from which those groups target Lebanon’s safety, stability and unity.
Fayyad’s words came during an honorary celebration in the south.
He stressed that all the Lebanese should work hand in hand with the realization that repercussions of the said target would inflict upon all the Lebanese without exception.
The MP confirmed that his bloc (Loyalty to Resistance) was willing to hold dialogue with and be open to all Lebanese political parties, especially those whom his party politically disagrees with.
He considered that the Lebanese army needs an intact political cover to be able to fully carry out its duties, warning of not taking decisive positions against those Takfirism groups whether on the borders or domestic scene.
Fayyad called upon all political parties to take “decisive decisions, clear stances and courageous steps which put an end to this track that threatens the Lebanese safety, stability and unity.”
