NNA – Information Ministry General Director, Hassan Falha, told a ceremony held on Sunday that Presidential election was a mandatory path towards reaching solutions for pending crises.
The event was held at a garden in Bint Jbeil for the 13th commemoration of Bint Jbeil website’s creation, in the presence of Falha representing Minister of Information, Ramzi Jreij, and a large number of figures from Information sector.
Falha saluted the journalists of South Lebanon, notably of Bint Jbeil, evoking their hard work during 13 years.
“Social media occupies a privileged place at the media scene for reaching the public and for diffusing information,” he added.
He did not forget to commend the Lebanese information sector’s role, saying that said sector demonstrated a high sense of responsibility in order to preserve stability despite some mistakes.
He said that he relied on media to bring Lebanese people close to each other and to shed the light on economic and social issues.
Falha also called upon all political parties to elect a President as soon as possible.
“Completing presidential deadline will restore order in State institutions as well as dynamism in the country’s political life. This will help to rebuild state institutions in Lebanon,” he concluded.
