WINDHOEK: Eight dangerous persons who allegedly committed serious crimes in the country over the past few years, are still on the run.
These eight were identified by NamPol’s Head of the Public Relations’ Division, Deputy Commissioner Edwin Kanguatjivi in a media statement on Wednesday as Ebson Kavari Tumbireeko, Ananias George Natangwe, Simson Matias, Michael Tsowaseb, Paulus Mwengo, Reinhold Rise Oxurub, Desderius Iyanga and George Katjingisiua.
The eight men are variously charged with murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances and rape, and are still on the run after they allegedly disappeared at the time when all their criminal cases were already placed on the roll of the Windhoek High Court.
According to Kanguatjivi, all the eight men are believed to be armed, and are regarded as very dangerous persons.
“Members of the public are, therefore, seriously warned not to attempt to arrest these suspects, but to rather report their whereabouts to the nearest police station in their areas”, he advised.
