Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Kostas Fragogiannis to visit Ankara for the 4th meeting on Positive Agenda issues (22.03.2023)

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy and Openness Kostas Fragogiannis is traveling to Ankara for a working meeting with his Turkish counterpart Burak Akcapar tomorrow, Wednesday, March 22, 2023 on the Positive Agenda initiative on economic and trade issues.  

This is the fourth meeting of the two Deputy Ministers on the Positive Agenda initiative, which was agreed between Greece’s and Turkey’s Foreign Ministers, Nikos Dendias and Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, in April 2021 and launched with the first meeting of the two Deputy Ministers in Kavala, on May 28-29, of the same year. The second meeting of Mr. Fragogiannis and Mr. Önal took place in Antalya on June 16, 2021, and the third meeting in Athens on February 21, 2022.

The discussions will focus on the progress achieved so far on the 25 items of the Positive Agenda as well as on the next steps.
