Deputy Minister Obed Bapela visits Ngaka Modiri Molema District Municipality as part of ongoing District Development Model institutionalisation process, 21 to 23 Sept

The Deputy Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA), Mr Obed Bapela, will visit Ngaka Modiri Molema District, in his capacity as the District Development Model (DDM) champion.

The Deputy Minister will be joined by the North West MEC for Finance, Ms Rosho and MEC for EDECT, Ms Mosenogi as well as the District Executive Mayor, Mayors of Local Municipalities, MMCs and MMs.

The working visit is part of the ongoing DDM institutionalisation process as an all of government and society approach.

The visit will entail a series of stakeholder engagements between Political principals, Traditional Leaders, Business representatives, members of Academia, Civil Society and Interfaith Organisations.
