Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs Miltiadis Varvitsiotis to visit the Republic of Cyprus- Representation of Greece at the celebration for the National Holiday of October 28 (27-28.10.2021)

Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs Miltiadis Varvitsiotis will travel to Cyprus tomorrow, October 27, where he will have meetings with the political and state leadership and he will represent the Greek government in the customary student parade on October 28 in Nicosia.

In particular, tomorrow, Wednesday October 27, the Alternate Minister will have successive meetings with the President of the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Nicos Anastasiades, His Beatitude Archbishop of New Justinian and All Cyprus, Chrysostomos II, the President of the House of Representatives, Ms. Annita Demetriou and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Nikos Christodoulides.

In the afternoon of October 27, the Alternate Minister together with the Cypriot Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Christodoulides will participate in a public discussion organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus in collaboration with the Cyprus University of Technology titled “Dialogue on the Future of Europe and the Role of Youth: Regional Dimensions, Challenges and Prospects”. The event will be broadcast live on the Cyprus University of Technology’s YouTube Channel.

On the National Holiday, October 28 and after the end of the parade, Mr. Varvitsiotis will pay a visit to the Hellenic Force in Cyprus (ELDYK).

During his visit to Cyprus, the Alternate Minister will also have a meeting with the President of the Democratic Rally of Cyprus, Mr. Averof Neofytou.
