SWAKOPMUND: A 36-year-old man made his second appearance in the Swakopmund Magistrate’s Court today on charges of possession of and dealing in crack cocaine.
Derrick Brockerhoff appeared before Magistrate Hannelie Prinsloo after he was arrested last Thursday in Arandis when he was found in possession of crack cocaine with a street value of N.dollars 50 000.
The matter was postponed to 18 February to allow Brockerhoff to apply for bail.
According to Namibian Police reports, he was travelling from Windhoek to Swakopmund in a mini-bus on Thursday when the drugs were allegedly found in his possession.
He was arrested after the police stopped the minibus for a routine search, and apparently found him in possession of 10 ‘bullets’ of cocaine wrapped in plastic.
