President Jacob Zuma has appointed Mr Percy Sechemane as a member of the National Planning Commission for a period of five years.
Mr Sechemane is the Chief Executive Officer of Rand Water, the largest water utility in the country, providing bulk potable water to approximately twelve million people in Gauteng and surrounding communities.
President Zuma wishes Mr Sechemane all the best in his new responsibilities. Mr Sechemane joins twenty five commissioners appointed by the President on 17 November 2015.
The National Planning Commission is chaired by the Minister in the Presidency for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, Mr Jeff Radebe.
