Police in Johannesburg are raiding several shops for counterfeit goods at the Johannesburg City Centre. The raid started in the morning and is still continuing. Several goods worth thousands of rands have already been seized. At this stage no one has been arrested but more details about the raid will be communicated at a later stage.
Speculation about the attacks on foreign shops is unfounded at this stage.
