Glencoe detectives make an appeal to anyone who might have information about the whereabouts of Sabelo Dlamini and Sphelelo Mdlalose. These two people (a href=”http:www.saps.gov.zanewsroommsspeechdetail.php?nid=3804″ target=”_blank”see attached photosa) are wanted for murder and house robbery case that was reported in Glencoe.
It is suspected that they might be at Ulundi area. Warrants of arrest have been issued. Anyone who might have information about their whereabouts is asked to contact Glencoe police Detective Warrant Officer Mukesh Maharaj 034 932 7795 or Crime Stop number 08600 10111.
On 14 January 2015 the victim, Ismail Dlamini was found dead with 16 stab wounds in his house at Valley View, Glencoe. He was found by her daughter who reported the matter to the police.
Ismail Dlamini, a pensioner, was living alone in the house. Goods from the house were also missing. A case of murder and house robbery was opened at Glencoe police station for investigation.
Through investigation, three suspects aged 19 and 25 years were arrested and stolen goods were recovered. All three suspects were charged with murder and house robbery. They will appear today, 19 January 2015 in the Glencoe Magistrate’s Court.
The KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Mmamonnye Ngobeni commended the police for the arrests and the recovery of stolen goods.
“I gly condemned such attack directed against a pensioner. I encourage the public to work with the police in apprehending the outstanding suspects in this case,” she said.
