Among the projects the Committees are scheduled to visit is uMthombo Project, Ngqurha port, DCD Wind Tower facility, FAW factory and the Coega Dairy.
The Chairperson of the Select Committee on Economic Development, Mr Litho Suka, said uMthombo was a major petro-chemical project that was announced by President Jacob Zuma.
“Parliament is making a follow up to see whether the project’s economic impact is being felt,” Mr Suka said.
The Committees are on a week-long oversight visit to the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro, and will visit among others the VW car manufacturing plant in Uitenhage, and the ASPEN factory plant.
