An Umkomaas mother is frantic with worry since her daughter had gone missing and has turned to the police to help find her. Nomthunzi Nomawethu Immaculate Hlabe (20) left her mom’s second home in Ulundi at 09:00 on 4 December last year, to attend a funeral in Widenham, Umkomaas. At 17:00 the same day, she spoke with her mother on her cellphone and said that she was in the Galleria Mall in Amanzimtoti. Since then she does not answer any calls and has disappeared. Her mom also has a house in Sunpark in Umkomaas.
Nomthuzi was dressed in a pair of blue jeans, a white sleeve-less shirt and bluegreen flat sandals. She carried a brown leather travel bag. She has a birthmark on the left side of her forehead and a tattoo of a cross on her left foot. She is fair in complexion, chubby, has blond hair, weighs about 70 kilograms and is approximately 1,6 metres tall.
We appeal to anyone who knows her whereabouts, to please contact Captain Nash Narain of the Umkomaas SAPS on 039 973 6100 or Crimestop on 08600 10111.
