Ministers of the Justice, Crime Prevention and Security (JCPS) Cluster will today visit election hotspots in the Western Cape in a bid to ensure stability ahead of the May 7 elections. “Government wishes to reiterate that it will not tolerate any form of violence, intimidation, incitement, public disorder, vandalism or intolerance in the country,” Acting Government Communication and Information System CEO, Phumla Williams, said on Thursday.
Police Minister Nathi Mthethwa will lead the delegation that is scheduled to go to Manenberg, Hanover Park and Tafelsig. The delegation is expected at the People’s Center in Manenberg at 11.30am.
This is the second in a series of visits the ministers are conducting in different provinces.
