Meyerton Business Robbery Investigated, No Arrests, Five Suspects Sought [press release]

On Sunday, 14 December 2014 at about 11:19, five suspects all armed with firearms entered a store in Meyerton where they have ordered staff and customers to lie down while the suspects took 150 cell phones from the shop and R8,000 in cash from the cash registers. An amount of R4, 000 was also taken from a customer. No injuries reported.

According to information, the five suspects fled the scene in a silver Toyota Quantum. Upon responding to the information received, police gave chase up to Kliprivier area where the suspects could not be traced any further.

A case of business robbery is being investigated by police.
