NAIROBI: MASTER Power Technologies, the independently owned total power and data centre solution provider, has opened an office in Kenya in order to better service East Africa.
Situated in Nairobi, the office forms another step in the expansion of Master Power’s presence in the region so that clients can have easy access to the products and expertise Master Power has to offer. It is part of the company’s plans to expand into the continent.
“We identified a requirement for solutions and products in East Africa, not to mention direct representation and made the decision to have a dedicated full time presence here,” says Neill Schreiber, Sales and Marketing Manager at Master Power Technologies.
“We are very excited about having a dedicated Kenyan office as this is enabling us to better service our current projects by having a foot on the ground. Projects planned for 2015 will also benefit greatly from this local office.”
Babeksingh Khalsa, who is the Regional Manager for East Africa, leads the Kenya team. He said plans to increase the firm’s market share were underway.
The firm is working closely with associated partners for support and is exploring conducting business within different sectors in the market such as Oil and Gas, Mining and the Marine Industry in addition to the telecommunications, financial and general data centre markets.
“We believe that with our experience in the power and data centre fields we can add real value to the region and assist our East African partners in expanding their knowledge in this field,” Khalsa said.
The Kenya establishment follows the opening of offices in Kitwe and Lusaka in Zambia.
