The Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) invites you to apply to be part of an Outward Trade and Investment Mission to Taiwan and Thailand. The mission is part of the dti’s objective to create market access for South African value-added products and services in new high-growth markets, and highlight South Africa as an investment destination of choice.
The invitation is open to producers and exporters in:
Agro-processing (fruit juice, canned and processed foods)
This opportunity also applies to South African companies in the Automotive Components sector seeking to attract foreign direct investment.
Dates: Taiwan 28 to 29 July and Thailand 31 July to 1 August 2014
The deadline date for the submission of complete EMIA Outward Selling Missions application forms is 30 May 2014. Assistance is provided to qualifying South African exporters and investors to introduce South African products into foreign markets in a cost-effective manner.
Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) will offer the following financial support to qualifying firms:
Economy class return airfare to a maximum of R17 000
Daily subsistence allowance of R2 300 per day
Business-to-business meetings for participants.
