During the course of February last year a man in his early thirties arrived at a residence in the Roosboom area on the outskirts of Ladysmith.
He seemed exhausted and was unable to communicate very clearly. He identified himself as Johannes Mojalife. He was offered accommodation by Roosboom residents. The following day it became clear that the man had a speech problem (he is unable to pronounce his words properly) and that he may be mentally challenged. He was unable to furnish his address or any other details besides the fact that comes from the Durban area. The people with whom he is currently living have approached the Ladysmith SAPS to assist them in locating the man’s family.
An appeal is made to the public, especially those living in in the Durban area, to assist Ladysmith SAPS in locating the man’s next-of-kin. If anyone can assist us they are requested to contact Warrant Officer Khan at Ladysmith SAPS on 036 6383335079 696 3485 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
A photo of the man is attached.
