Durbanville Saps Drugs Successes [press release]

On 25 December 2014 Durbanville Police members received information of drugs being kept at a house in the Fisantekraal area, Durbanville.

The Crime Prevention Unit followed up the information and searched the premises in Derick Cloete Street, Fisantekraal area, Durbanville. Thirty mandrax tablets were found on the premises. A 46 year old male was arrested and appeared in the Bellville Magistrate court today (Monday 2014-12-29) on a charge of illegal possession of drugs.

On 28 December 2014 at 15:50 Durbanville Police members held a Vehicle Check Point (VCP) in front of the Fisantekraal Police Station, Durbanville. The members pulled over- and searched a white VW Polo Playa vehicle. In the vehicle they found a navy bag filled with dagga parcels.

They confiscated 89 parcels of dagga and arrested two male suspects aged 22 and 29 residing in the Fisantekraal area, Durbanville. Both suspects appeared in the Bellville Magistrate court today (Monday 2014-12-29) on a charge of illegal possession of drugs.
