Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa will tomorrow address a formal special sitting of the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) in Oudtshoorn, Western Cape.
The address is a culmination of a week-long NCOP Taking Parliament to the People programme which brings together the three spheres of government (national, provincial and local) to account to the communities about service delivery.
This year’s programme is held under the theme “20 Years of a Democratic Parliament.” A series of public engagement events and oversight visits to various projects around the Eden District Municipality were conducted as part of this week’s activities.
This sitting is also open to the members of the public who wish to attend.
