The Congress of South African Trade Union in the NW has congratulated the newly elected leadership of SACP which was elected over the weekend during their 7th Provincial Congress of the SACP of Moses Kotane.
The SACP delegates of Moses Kotane Province elected the six officials, including the fifteen additional PEC members led by the Provincial Secretary, Cde Madoda Sambatha.
As COSATU in the North West, we will continue to work with the new elected leadership of the SACP towards making sure we aance the agenda of the workers, including that of poor working class in the NW.
We will continue to support all the programs of the SACP, including continue to defend the SACP against anyone, who want to use the SACP as his organization.
We will defend the elected leadership to make sure that they are not used against the poor working class in particular the workers. The SACP should remain the vanguard of the workers and that of the society.
We are going to make sure that we develop a joint program in all our campaigns, including the campaign on going back the mining area to reclaim our integrity and make sure that all those workers, who forced under barrel of the gun to join AMCU, are back to our revolutionary union [NUM]
We thank all SACP members in the Moses Kotane Province for playing its central role to unite the SACP and for refusing to be told, who must lead them in their Province.
Once more congratulation to all democratic elected SACP leaders!
