The Congress of South African Trade Unions has been left numb at the sad news on the passing on of Comrade Simon Ntsoane.
He was serving as Tshwane Local Secretary and was one of the most reliable workers’ aocates in the economic hub of the capital city of the Republic.
He was one of the shop stewards who understood that ldquoConditions are changing all the time, and to adapt one’s thinking to the new conditions, one must studyrdquo as Mao declared.
Cde Simon has served against all odds and other circumstances to alleviate the work of the Federations and the Affiliates.
COSATU Gauteng is confident that Cde Ntsoane acted in deeds as well as in words to pursue the interests of the toiling class as a revolutionary.
May his revolutionary collegiality inspire us all to serve the toiling class!
COSATU Tshwane Local will deeply miss his contributions during PECs and POBs meetings. His contributions to the working class struggle will be missed.
May his soul rest in peace!
