Complaints have continued to trail the distribution of the permanent voters card in Taraba State.
Some respondents who spoke to Daily Trust said they were yet to collect their PVCs with the elections just six weeks away.
President General of Tiv Social and Cultural Association in Taraba, James Nungwa said about 30% of his people were yet to receive their permanent voters cards.
Nungwa said there was need for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to address the situation urgently so that people would not be disenfranchised during the elections.
He said some of the people who were displaced due to crisis were yet to get their PVCs. He wondered what would be the fate of such people during the elections.
Nungwa said many people, especially those affected by crisis, could not take part in the continuous voters registration carried out by INEC sometime last year due to the volatile nature of the area.
Also speaking, an eligible voter, Danjuma Tsokwa told Daily Trust that he was unable to collect his PVC during the distribution exercise as his own was not among those brought.
He said only a handful of people that registered at his centre collected theirs.
