The Algerian football team is getting ready to make its great debut in the African Cup of Nations 2015 which is taking place in Equatorial Guinea, with South Africa as first opponent Monday at the Mongomo stadium (8:00 p.m. local time), group C’s host city in which also play Ghana and Senegal.
An important but non decisive game which is a test for the Desert Foxes who are more than ever determined to spawn a way leading to at least the semi finals of this competition, a goal assigned by the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) to coach Christian Gourcuff.
Sofiane Feghouli’s teammates who played a reassuring preparation game against Tunisia (1-1) will enter the field to win.
“My philosophy is the same: impose our game to our opponents in all the matches in which we are engaged. It is with this spirit that we will play this CAN in which my goal is to win all the games,” said the national coach in a press briefing held in Algiers.
