Borno senate aspirant donates vehicles

ABUJA: THE All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Borno North Senatorial Seat, Abubakar Kyari, has donated 75 vehicles to party faithful at the Government House in Maiduguri.

Addressing the gathering, Abubakar Kyari who is also the Chief of Staff to the Governor, said he was providing the 75 vehicles as his wife’s mite to the members of his senatorial zone.

He said out of the 75 vehicles which consisted of 22 LX 450 Jeeps will be distributed to 10 local government areas of his constituency including one to each to the council party chairmen, while the 10 party`s women leader in the zone will get one CRV each.

The rest of the vehicles will be distributed to party loyalists across the zone.

He pledged to carry everybody along, while representing the zone at the National Assembly and assured them of quality representation.

Kyari commended Governor Kashium Shettima, his deputy, Zannah Mustapha, and all party stakeholders and supporters for their support..

Mustapha commended the Senatorial candidate Hon. Abubakar Kyari for providing this vehicle to the party members, stressing that Kyari was a ‘trustworthy’ candidate that could represent the zone well if elected.

“No sane Northerner will vote the People’s Democratic Party in the next election as the party led by President Goodluck Jonathan has made a mess of the Boko Haram insurgency which has continually ravaged part of the North,” said Mustapha

The deputy governor insisted the only way Nigerians could assist the North was by assisting the region to end the Boko Haram crisis.

“Any northerner that voted for PDP is not in his right senses, as PDP government has failed in its responsibility of bringing to an end the lingering Boko Haram crisis in the North-east and the North in general. Insha- Allah come 2015 APC will form government at the federal level and win all elective positions on offer in Borno State.”
