Fire crews sent to thatched cottage
FIRE crews were called following the smell of burning coming from a thatched house in South Devon on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident took place in the Teignbridge hamlet of Luton at 4.45pm.
Firefighters from Teignmouth and Torquay attended the incident to inspect the thatched roof.
A fire service spokesman said: “The crew investigated the property and confirmed there had been a small fire in an electrical light fitting but was now out.
“They used small tools and a thermal imaging camera to check everything was fully out and safe.”
