Car hits central barrier on A38
A DRIVER escaped injury when their car crashed into the central reservation of the A38 on Sunday afternoon.
The Vauxhall Astra collided with the barrier on the Exeter-bound side of the dual carriageway at 3.30pm.
Police said that no other vehicles were involved close to the Marley Head junction at South Brent.
Inspector Marcus Laine, in the force control room, said: "We had reports of a multi-vehicle accident but it seems other cars stopped to help.
"It is a non-injury accident. The outside lane has been closed while debris is recovered so there will be some delays."
